My Birthday Dream Come True: Welcome to Breckenmendations!
Today is my birthday—July 2, 2025—and this year, I’m celebrating more than just another trip around the sun. I’m also celebrating the birth of something that’s been on my heart for years: my very own blog, Breckenmendations.
This has been my dream for a long time—to create a space where I can share my love for Colorado, especially Summit County, and offer real tips, recommendations, and stories from a lifetime of mountain adventures. What makes this even more special is that my amazing family and friends pulled together to bring it to life and surprise me with a fully functioning site, just in time for my birthday.
So today marks a double celebration: my birthday, and the birthday of Breckenmendations. And I already know we’ll be sharing many more birthdays together in the years to come.
