Our reviews
We only write up places we’ve actually eaten at — real, first-hand reviews, not a rehashed list. Here’s where we’ve been so far:
More reviews are on the way as we work our way around town. You’ll always find the full list in the Food & Drink section of the blog.
Eating in Breckenridge: what to know
Most of the action is right on and around Main Street in downtown Breckenridge — a walkable stretch of restaurants, cafes, and bars just steps from the slopes and most lodging. You’ll find a genuine range: quick slope-side lunches, coffee and bakeries for the morning, casual family dinners, après-ski spots, and a handful of nicer sit-down restaurants for a special night out.
- Reserve ahead in peak season. Ski-season weekends, holidays, and busy summer nights fill up fast. Book a table or plan to eat early to avoid a wait.
- You can leave the car. Downtown is walkable, and the town’s free shuttle makes it easy to reach dinner from most lodging — handy after a day on the mountain or a drink or two.
- Great for families. Many spots have kids’ menus and a casual, welcoming feel, so a sit-down dinner with the family is easy here.
- Altitude tip: Breckenridge sits above 9,600 feet. Go easy on the alcohol your first night, drink plenty of water, and you’ll feel a lot better the next morning.
